Professor Dan Stone

Research interests

Dan Stone is a historian of modern Europe who works on historiographical and philosophical interpretations of the Holocaust, comparative genocide, history of anthropology, and the cultural history of the British Right. He is the author or editor of thirteen books and about sixty scholarly articles. Dan Stone is co-editor of the Journal of Genocide Research and Patterns of Prejudice and on the editorial boards of Critical Philosophy of Race and Hypothesis. His next book, a history of postwar Europe, will be published by Oxford University Press in early 2014.
