Research interests

My areas of interest are the sociology of health and illness, the family, childhood and food. My PhD research focuses on the management of childhood epilepsy within the family. As part of this research I am exploring the concepts of risk and uncertainty. I am also particularly interested in the importance of siblings and the role of food in managing childhood epilepsy within the family.
