Research interests
My research interests include cognitive processes in psychosis and anxiety disorders. In particular, I am interested in understanding the contributing role of anxiety processes in positive symptoms of psychosis. I am currently looking into the role of responsibility beliefs and thought action fusion in psychosis, and specifically in acting or not on command hallucinations. I am also interested in cognitive and behavioural processes involved in obsessive compulsive and body dysmorphic disorders.
A further interest is therapy process and outcome research. I have supervised research exploring patterns of change in anxiety disorders within routine clinical practice and act as a clinical advisor to the national audit for psychological therapies.
