Reader in Accelerator Physics
My research interests are primarily in the development of state of the art accelerator beam diagnostics, devices used to understand and control high energy, low emittance charged particle beams. It includes cavity beam position monitor systems, laser-electron beam interactions, control systems, beam dynamics and feedback systems. Hello new students!
Graduated in physics from imperial college in 1998, MSci Physics. D. Phil in Particle physics from Oxford, St. Catherines College 2002. From 2002 till 2005 Post doctoral research assistant in Particle Physics, specifically linear collider at University College London. Acadmic staff member Royal Holloway in Accelerator Physics.
I teach mainly Astronomy related courses (due to my interest in optics), PH2900 Astronomy and PH2910 Stellar Astrophysics. Optics laboratory coordinator. 3rd and 4th year project supervisor. University of London Particle Physics postgraduate course, Accelerator Physics. PhD students in Accelerator physics
