Abstract

A new analysis of the work of T.W. Adorno based particularly on published and unpublished lectures. Adorno is assessed In terms of the significance of his work for debates concerning the future of philosophy in the light of new communication between the analytical and European traditions. The book addresses major issues in epistemology, ethics, and aesthetics, in the light of the notion of the 'ends of philosophy'.
